Who we are
This policy covers Word Finder Wordle at wordfinderwordle.org. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the operator of Word Finder Wordle.

Server logs
When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes technical data needed to deliver it: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser’s user agent and the referring page. This data is used to serve the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not use it to build profiles or to identify you.
What we do not collect
We do not run analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or third-party scripts, and the site’s fonts are hosted on our own domain. The guesses and colors you enter in the finder are processed in your browser and are never sent to us.
Legal basis (GDPR and UK GDPR): server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
Data stored on your device
The site uses your browser’s local storage to remember a few settings. This data stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and you can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Service providers
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and processes server log data on our behalf as a processor. Cloudflare operates a global network, so this data may be processed outside your country, under the safeguards described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Advertising (not active)
There are no ads on this site today. This section explains what will apply if and when ads are enabled, so the policy is ready before anything changes.
If and when ads are enabled:
- We expect to use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, would use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies would let it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You could opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Local storage data stays on your device until you clear it. Server log data is kept by Cloudflare only as long as needed for delivery, security and abuse prevention, under its own retention policies.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and runs no server-side application or database, which keeps the amount of data at risk to a minimum.

If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes, such as enabling advertising, will be described here before they take effect.
